Franklin homes frequently combine familiar architectural language with large, modern openings. A successful plan balances warmth and tradition with clean operation, appropriate scale, and a consistent view from room to room.
Details worth considering.
- Whole-home plans should establish a small, coherent family of materials and hardware finishes.
- Layered treatments can preserve a traditional sense of softness while improving daily light control.
- Early measurement and electrical coordination are valuable when motorization is under consideration.
These are design considerations, not rules. The exact recommendation should follow the room, the construction of the window, and the way the household wants to manage light and privacy.
