Nashville projects often move between historic rooms, thoughtful renovations, and contemporary infill. The window treatment should respond to the architecture rather than forcing every opening into the same formula.
Details worth considering.
- Tall windows and original trim benefit from careful mounting and stack calculations.
- Open-plan rooms need a consistent material language without repeating one identical treatment everywhere.
- West-facing glass may call for a functional light-control layer beneath decorative drapery.
These are design considerations, not rules. The exact recommendation should follow the room, the construction of the window, and the way the household wants to manage light and privacy.
